Widely renowned List 2A dressage judge, top dressage rider, trainer, and manufacturer of premium quality bespoke saddles, Sue Carson, will be holding a dressage demonstration based on the View of the Dressage Judge.
Sue will be working with a range of horse and rider combinations from Prelim through to Elementary level. She will give an insight in to the transition from unaffiliated to affiliated competitions from the judge’s perspective, giving a clear explanation of what the judge is looking for in the horse way of going and the variety of movement within the dressage test.
Sue will explain to the audience what to look for in a Prelim, Novice and Elementary dressage test by judging ‘out loud’ the test performed by each rider. She will then discuss how the test went, the marks awarded, collective marks, comments and interpretation of the score sheet.
The demonstration will be interactive with the audience who will be encouraged to judge each test and raise questions.
The evening is guaranteed to be educational, informative and motivational to anyone who has an interest in unaffiliated and affiliated dressage.
