Then horse riding could be the one for you as part of your Hen Party/ Weekend....
We can organise groups from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 14, all abilities
are welcome and an introductory lesson to start the session will always help
both to refresh the current riders and to guide the new starters towards an
enjoyable experience. After we have done our initial coaching session we will
play gymkhana games (real old fashioned stuff!) which includes bending
races, potato races and other similar games. Small jumps can be incorporated
if the ability of the ride is suitable. Furthermore, to finish the session
we can go on a short ride along the bridle path which runs from the bottom
of our drive.
You may select all or some of these activities depending upon how long you
would like and how much you would like to pay.
If there are larger numbers we would have to divide the groups into two
but up to 10 can be incorporated in one group. We can arrange for photos
(by my bionic husband the recent receiver of two new hips) who has a rather
nifty camera. We also provide rosettes and sashes for the bride to be and
all the participants of the party in the

We booked Barleyfields for quite a large henparty with
very mixed abilities ranging from those who had never
sat on a horse before to very competent riders, and
they provided a fantastic morning which everyone could
enjoy. The more experienced riders were able to lead
the less experienced during their lesson, and then the
novices watched whilst the experienced ones showed
us how it was done. We all joined together for the
gymkhana games which were great fun. We would
definitely recommend this as a great day out for a
horsey-hen!
